Understanding cables

2.On September 14, we received a diplomatic note from the MFA agreeing to continue USG-funded police training consistent with the terms of our April 21 dipnote (refs C, D).

3.Begin text of MFA dipnote (informal MFA and embassy translation): The office of the Assistant Minister for American Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, presents its compliments to the Embassy of the United States of America in Cairo, and has the honor to acknowledge receipt of Embassy diplomatic note number 464, dated April 21, 2009, regarding cooperation in the field of community policing programs, and agrees with the content included in the Embassy diplomatic note.
