ΒΆ1.  Per reftel, we passed invitation to the Secretary's 
September 24 luncheon for female heads of state and foreign 
ministers to the office of the Prime Minister of Iceland 
Johanna Sigurdardottir.  During a meeting with Charge 
September 3, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director for 
International and Security Affairs Greta Gunnarsdottir stated 
that due to scheduling conflicts, the Prime Minister 
regretfully declined the invitation.
